Biosurfactants

Biosurfactants Photo

Amphiphilic compounds produced on living surfaces that are mostly microbial or extracellularly secreted or excreted contain hydrophilic or hydrophobic properties due to certain moieties present in them. They help reduce surface tension and interfacial tension between two molecules at the interface.
