Prebiotics are specialized plant fibres. Intact like fertilizers that inspire the growth of healthy bacteria in the gut. Prebiotics are establish in many fruits and vegetables, especially which contain complex carbohydrates, such as fibre and resistant starch. They first identified and named as functional food component by Marcel Roberfroid in 1995.

Session on: Bioremediation and Biodegradation

The process of treating the contaminated media like water, soil by altering the opposite environmental conditions to degrade the pollutants with the assistance of microorganisms is named Bioremediation. This biological approach is a smaller amount expensive and more sustainable than the other microbial method of treating the pollutants like wastewater, solid and industrial waste. It generally involves the methodology of oxidation-reduction reaction that adds a process of electron acceptor to stimulate the oxidation of the reduced pollutant. This is wont to mineralize the organic pollutants or to partially transform or alter their ability.

The process of breaking down the organic matter by microorganism is understood as Biodegradation. This involves three stages like bio deterioration, bio fragmentation, and assimilation.

The interface of the microorganism on the host they colonize, their effects, and their benefits on the host are generally called the host-microbial interaction. The features of microbes not only results in disease but some microbes help in the regulation and betterment of life. They can have a positive effect on the lifespan it can generate certain microbial resistance towards the potential microorganisms

A functioning of microbial community present in the environment. Microbes are special characterization of biosphere as it’s a backbone of the environment. This states of the microbes are present in that atmosphere. Microbes either live in extremely cold temperatures or extremely high temperatures. And also atmosphere microbes play an important role in the geo chemical cycle.

A scientific study that deals with the discipline of algae are referred to as phycology, this comes under the sub-disciplinary of botany. They lack in root, stem, and leave as that of other plants and are mostly found because the single or microscopic organism. Sometimes this type as a sequence of cells and appears macroscopic the habitat of microorganism that lives within the marine or ocean environment is usually referred to as the marine microorganisms. These organisms constitute quite 90%of the entire biomass of the ocean.

Microorganisms and their method in industrial processing to produce high-value drugs, chemicals, foods, and other products is known as industrial microbiology. These microorganisms are generally manipulated and used in various ways in large-scale industries to attain the huge mass quantity of goods. Production of several antibiotics, penicillin, fermentation, production of bio pesticides, microbial inoculants, synthesis of amino acid, organic solvents are some of the applications of microbes in the industries.

Session on: Soil Microbiology & Microbial Ecology

Microbial Ecology deals with the connection of microorganisms with each other and with their environment. Microorganisms act as a backbone of the ecosystem and thus play various roles within the environment. These microbes play a crucial role within the biogeochemical process just like the phosphorus cycle, Sulphur cycle, and carbon cycle supported the microorganism that depends on each other . The microbes in the environment frequently engage in the process such as symbiosis which includes mutualism, commensalism, and parasitism as this process affects and forms major impacts in the ecosystem.

Session on: Virology

Virology covers all features of the virus from evolution, structure, life cycle and function to the diseases so they are responsible for the host defences against. Viruses are infectious particles that are loaded with genetic material (DNA or RNA) insert themselves into host cells, host genome and get themselves replicated.  The life cycle of viruses is vital in virology both for classification and for creating ways to destroy the virus or limit its damaging effects.

Its major part of virology can be done in several ways. One way of the host organisms infects, such as animals, plants, fungi and bacteria.  Each different types of cells are presenting a different challenge to the virus its efforts to get replicated. Viruses can also be classified of the genetic material present.  Example, single or double strand of RNA or DNA.

Session on: Microbiology – Covid19

COVID-19 virus is most dangerous disease we cannot breathe probably and maintain a 1-meter distance with others. Signs may begin one to fourteen days after exposure to the virus.

Symptoms: Fever, Cough, Headache, breathing difficulties, and loss of smell and taste.

COVID-19 transmits when people inhale air polluted by droplets and little airborne particles. The danger of breathing is highest when people are in close proximity, but they will be inhaled over longer distances, particularly indoors. Transmission can also occur if splashed or sprayed with contaminated fluids, within the eyes, nose or mouth, and, rarely, via contaminated surfaces. People remain contagious for up to twenty days, and should spread the virus albeit they're doing not develop any symptoms.

Market Analysis

According to the new market research, the rapid microbiology market growth is expected to USD 5.09 billion in 2023 from USD3.45 billion in 2018 which shows the growing rate of 8.1% according to CAGR.

This market segment includes in the various applications such as pharmaceuticsagriculturemarinefood industryclinical laboratory  and many other fields. Emerging regions in Asia-pacific includes china, Japan and India which turns out to be a blooming market in the field of microbiology by the next five years.
